Josh Leavitt, Field Guide

Josh Leavitt, Field Guide

After nearly 10 years working in Health Club Management Josh decided to jump into Wilderness Therapy as a field guide here in Southern Utah in January 2016 and hasn’t looked back since.

He spent his time in the field mentoring students and staff alike on what it takes to live out in the wilderness, operating as a Lead Instructor up until May of 2017.

Josh is extremely passionate about the work that can be done in the wilderness and the life lessons it can teach to us all.

He joins our team very excited to assist our clients during their journey while here at Star Guides. He understands that being in wilderness treatment, both as a student and as a parent following at home, is definitely challenging but that the benefits can be life changing.

When not at work he enjoys spending time with his wife and young son in the out doors hiking, camping, fishing and swimming. He also has a passion for what he calls his own personal therapy, gardening.
