Sexual Offenses Track
Because of the ease of access to explicit media and the potency of today’s pornography, many parents are faced with the difficult and uncomfortable task of addressing pornography use and sexual behavior problems by their children. Research suggests that most pornography and sexual addictions begin during adolescence. Unfortunately, most people don’t seek treatment until later in life when the problem has become more pervasive. STAR Guides offers a therapeutic wilderness expedition for young women struggling with sexual behaviors. Often due to their own trauma and abuse, young women who exhibit a pattern of wreckless or promiscuous sexual behavior are prime candidates for this program. Learning to live in a wilderness setting along with intensive therapy allows young women to begin to heal from past trauma and abuse that has resulted in their problematic sexual behaviors.
