Due to the physically demanding nature of our program, STAR Guides clients are required to submit to a medical evaluation and receive clearance for participation. This evaluation can occur prior to arrival at our program, or we can arrange for the evaluation to occur here.
There are additional criteria that may prevent a client from admission into our program including but not limited to:
Transportation is a logistical decision that needs to be made by families. It’s really a matter of safety. As much as we like to meet parents in person prior to a child’s placement in the program, we understand that sometimes circumstances do not allow this to occur. Please feel free to speak with our admissions department about the various options for transportation. Students must be accompanied by an adult or Professional Adolescent Transportation Service.
